How do I size an FX Luminaire transformer?

Add the wattage (or VA) of every fixture on the run, then choose a transformer with ~20–30% headroom. Check voltage drop: long wire runs may need thicker cable, multiple home runs, or a higher tap. Never load a transformer to 100% continuous.
